Најбољи српски тенисер Новак Ђоковић борави у Бризбејну у Аустралији гдје ће сутра наступити у дублу на АТП турниру, у којем ће му партнер бити аустралијски тенисер Ник Кирјос.
На тениским теренима у Бризбејну у току је турнир у женској и мушкој конкуренцији.
Турнир у мушкој конкуренцији започео је јучерашњим квалификацијама, а Ђоковић, који ће први пут у каријери учествовати на овом такмичењу, привукао је велику пажњу публике.
По доласку у Бризбејн, Ђоковић је искористио прилику да обиђе град, а одрадио је и први тренинг, који су пратили бројни обожаваоци.
Ђоковић је тренирао са Холгером Рунеом, прошлогодишњим финалистом овог турнира.
Српски ас је тренутно седми на АТП листи, а први ривал у синглу биће му Аустралијанац Ринки Хиџиката. Њих двојица се до сада нису састајали.
АТП турнир у Бризбејну игра се до недјеље, 5. јануара.
