Село Јасеновац, име је, највјероватније, добило по јасеновом дрвету. Средиште је истоимене општине у Посавини у Хрватској.
Екипа магазина "Око" и РТС-а из Београда посјетила је село Јасеновац, мјесто највећег српског страдања.
Према посљедњем попису овдjе живи око 530 људи. Срба - око десетак. Остало су Хрвати.
Главна улица, води до Спомен коплекса, мjеста некадашњег логора смрти. Ту се, као подсjетник и израз пијетета за све страдале, налази Камени цвијет, аутора Богдана Богдановића.
Међутим, неколико стотина метара даље, у самом селу и Српска православна црква, на свој начин, чува сјећање. Највише кроз манастир Јасеновац, затим имања, која купује или добија на поклон и на тим мјестима прави својеврсне меморијале.
Како живе монахиње у Јасеновцу? Шта се сада налази у некадашњој српској школи? О чему свједоче дјечији диктати из 1934. године?
