Broj poginulih u zemljotresu u Mjanmaru dostigao je 3.301, a 4.792 ljudi je povrijeđeno, javila je kineska državna televizija.
Na listi nestalih je 221 osoba, navodi se u izvještaju.
Zemljotres magnitude 7,7 stepeni Rihterove skale pogodio je Mjanmar u petak, 28. marta, a potresi su se osjetili u Bangladešu, Indiji, Laosu, Kini i na Tajlandu.
Lokalne vlasti su sljedećeg dana saopštile da je zemljotres oštetio podzemne naftovode i prekinuo dalekovode, te da će doploviti tankeri kako bi se ublažila nestašica goriva.
Brojne zemlje pomažu Mjanmaru slanjem pomoći, uključujući spasilačke timove.
