Nije bilo onako kako sam se nadao, ali je dobro vratiti se na teren, izjavio je danas srpski teniser Novak Đoković, koji je u utorak poražen u prvom kolu ATP turnira u Dohi od Italijana Matea Beretinija.
Italijan je juče na startu turnira u glavnom gradu Katara pobijedio Đokovića rezultatom 7:6 (7:4), 6:2. Beretini će u drugom kolu igrati protiv Holanđanina Talona Grikspora.
- Još radim na povratku na željeni nivo, ali igrao sam bez bola, tako da nema opravdanja. Beretini je jednostavno bio bolji igrač i zasluženo je pobedio. Srećno, Mateo, u nastavku turnira. Hvala Kataru na podršci i strasti, kao i uvek. Idemo dalje - napisao je Đoković na svom nalogu na Instagramu.
Novak Đoković i Fernando Verdasko igraće danas oko 16.30 časova u četvrtfinalu turnira u Dohi u dubl konkurenciji protiv Finca Harija Heliovare i Britanca Henrija Patena.
Đoković se vratio na teren na turniru u Dohi poslije oporavka od povrede butnog mišića zbog koje je 24. januara Aleksandru Zverevu morao da preda polufinale Australijan opena po završetku prvog seta.
