Осам нових случајева лептоспирозе пријављено је у Кантону Сарајево, подаци су кантоналног Завода за јавно здравство.
Према најновијим подацима, сада су укупно регистрована 43 случаја, а смртних исхода није било.
Највећи број обољелих је сарајевским општинама Нови Град и Центар, а потврђених случајева заразе једино нема у Хаџићима, Вогошћи, Илијашу и Трнову.
Када је ријеч о старосној структури заражених, 34 има између 30 и 65 година.
Епидемија заразног обољења лептоспироза у Кантону Сарајево проглашена је 23. маја.
