Дугогодишњи капитен ватерполо репрезентације Србије Филип Филиповић проглашен је за најбољег играча свијета у 2021. години, а селектор Србије Дејан Савић изабран је за најбољег тренера.
Свечана додела признања одржана је у Абу Дабију.
Филиповић и Савић освојили су са Србијом злато на Олимпијским играма у Токију и одбранили титулу из Рија.
На церемонији проглашења Филиповић се захвалио саиграчима и селектору Савићу.
- Вечерас сам овде пре свега захваљујући саиграчима и тренеру који је успео да сложи све коцкице и доведе нас до свих успеха. Без њих то не би било могуће, као и без подршке моје породице којој сам безрезервно захвалан - изјавио је Филиповић.
