Dugogodišnji kapiten vaterpolo reprezentacije Srbije Filip Filipović proglašen je za najboljeg igrača svijeta u 2021. godini, a selektor Srbije Dejan Savić izabran je za najboljeg trenera.
Svečana dodela priznanja održana je u Abu Dabiju.
Filipović i Savić osvojili su sa Srbijom zlato na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju i odbranili titulu iz Rija.
Na ceremoniji proglašenja Filipović se zahvalio saigračima i selektoru Saviću.
