Povodom obilježavanja Svjetskog dana šuma organizovana je akcija sadnje i pošumljavanja na 20 lokacija širom BiH. U ovim akcijama, koje će se provoditi tokom marta i aprila, biće posađeno 5000 malih sadnica na planinama i izletištima i preko 300 sadnica odraslih stabala, koji će uljepšati naše parkove, školska dvorišta i šetališta.
U zavisnosti od predjela u kojima se sadi biće korištene različite vrste drveća poput smrče, bijelog bora, javora, lipe i brojnih voćkarica. Akciju će u Istočnom Starom Gradu sprovesti tim Speleološko-ekološkog društva "Orlovača" , a ovom prilikom će posaditi 800 novih sadnica.
Akcija će biti održana u nedjelju, 10. aprila 2022. godine u 10.00 časova na Trebeviću, a koordinator SED "Orlovača" u saradnji sa partnerima, poziva sve zainteresovane volontere i ljude dobre volje da se priključe ovoj akciji posumljavanja i na taj način daju svoj doprinos zaštiti i očuvanju životne sredine.
