Broj poginulih usljed snažnog zemljotresa u Mjanmaru porastao je na 2.886, javila je kineska novinska agencija Sinhua, pozivajući se na lokalne nadležne organe.
U izvještaju se navodi da je povrijeđeno najmanje 4.639 ljudi, a da je 373 na spisku nestalih.
Raniji izvještaji pokazali su da je poginulo 2.719 ljudi, te da je 4.521 lice povrijeđeno, a više od 400 osoba na spisku nestalih.
Zemljotres magnitude 7,7 stepeni po Rihterovoj skali pogodio je Mjanmar u petak, 28. marta, a potresi su se osjetili u Bangladešu, Indiji, Laosu, Kini i na Tajlandu.
