Fridrih Merc izabran za novog kancelara Njemačke

Lider bloka Hrišćansko-demokratske unije /CDU/ i Hrišćansko-socijalne unije /CSU/ Fridrih Merc izabran je danas za novog njemačkog kancelara u drugom krugu glasanja u Bundestagu.
Za izbor Merca glasalo je 325 poslanika od ukupno 618 prisutnih. Protiv je bilo 289, jedan poslanik je bio suzdržan, dok su tri glasa bila nevažeća.
Za izbor je bilo potrebno 316 glasova, a CDU/CSU i SPD zajedno imaju 328 poslanika.
Merc u prvom krugu glasanja ranije danas nije dobio podršku dovoljnog broja poslanika.
Novog kancelara Njemačke Merkelova izbacila iz stranke
Evropskoj javnosti je poznat kao političar kog je Angela Merkel izbacila iz vrha stranke, a sad se vraća na političku, ali ga čekaju teški zadaci.
Fridrih Merc (69) je tako postao najstariji kancelar u trenutku preuzimanja dužnosti od vremena Konrada Adenauera, koji je 1949. godine, kao prvi kancelar nove Savezne Republike Njemačke, preuzeo ovu funkciju sa 73 godine.
