Odbojkašica Srbije Maja Ognjenović, pred četvrtfinalni meč Evropskog prvenstva protiv Bugarske, rekla je da ozbiljno treba da shvate rivala bez obzira na to što su ga u grupnoj fazi već pobijedili.
-Sigurno da je meč sa Bugarskom posebnog značaja. Bugarke su nam dobro poznat protivnik. Može da bude opasna stvar ako ih neozbiljno shvatimo, jer smo ih u grupi prilično lako savladale izuzev prvog seta. Mislim da treba da budemo maksimalno ozbiljne i pripremljene dočekamo tu utakmicu - rekla je Ognjenović.
Odbojkašice su u drugom kolu EP poslije preokreta uspjele da pobjede selekciju Bugarske 3:1.
-Imaju dobre individualce i najveća opasnost prijeti od Elice Vasileve i srednjih blokera, koji dobro odrađuju posao - rekla je Ognjenović, koja je istakla da se nada da će četvrfinalnom meču Srbija biti bolja nego u utakmici grupne faze.
-Mislim da ima dosta stvari koje treba da se poprave ako gledamo prvi meč. Dobro su nas pročitale, ali vjerujem se da ćemo biti dosta jače i bolje, nadam u prolasku u polufinale - zaključila je Ognjenović.
