Olga Danilović nastavila je sa dobrim partijama u 2025. godini i poslije osmine finala na Australijen openu i 41. mjesta na WTA listi, danas se sigurnom igrom plasirala u drugo kolo WTA turnira u Klužu gdje je savladala Amerikanku Ališu Parks 2:0 (6:3, 6:3).
Prvi set je Danilovićeva riješila uz tri brejka. Kada je povela 3:1 činilo se da će lako do seta, međutim, Amerikanka je vratila brejk, izjednačila na 3:3, a zatim izgubila tri naredna.
Srpska teniserka imala je mali pad u igri samo do sredine drugog seta, koji je Parksova otvorila brejkom, a zatim u petom gemu imala čak četiri brejk lopte. Olga je sve uspjela da odbrani, a zatim da furioznom igrom dobije naredna četiri gema uz dva brejka i slavi 6:3.
Danilovićeva će u narednom kolu igrati protiv bugarske teniserke Viktorije Tomove, koja je 63. na svjetskoj listi.
