Paljanin Goran Krulj, na Svjetskom prvenstvu u dizanju tegova u disciplini „stojeći biceps“ , održanog u Trnavi u Slovačkoj osvojio je zlatnu medalju i postao prvak svijeta nastupajući za Srbiju.
Osim toga, na spomenutom takmičenju, Krulj je postao i svjetski rekorder, a ističe da je ovaj uspjeh kruna njegove karijere.
- Ove godine postao sam evropski prvak, svjetski prvak, prvak ispred Svjetske fitnes federacije. Emocije me nose. Ovu titulu poklanjam mom sinu Mateju, bratiću Viktoru i supruzi Adrijani koji su mi najveća podrška i motivacija. Pobjedu poklanjam i svima unesrećenim u Jablanici i Konjicu – rekao je Krulj.
On se zahvalio Bojanu Krulju i Milanu Joloviću, svom stalnom sponzoru Agenciji za fizičko i tehničko obezbjeđenje Alpha security doo Banja Luka, te svim ostalim sponzorima koju su doprinjeli tituli svjetskog prvaka.
