Trka Formule 1 za Veliku nagradu Monaka privremeno je prekinuta danas već u prvom krugu zbog velikog incidenta na stazi u kome su učestvovala trojica vozača.
Vozač Ferarija Šarl Lekler startovao je sa pol pozicije i uspeo je da zadrži vođstvo.
Međutim, njegov timski kolega Karlos Sainc izleteo je sa staze već u prvom krugu.
Međutim, trka je prekinuta nekoliko sekundi kasnije kada je vozač Hasa Kevin Magnusen udario u bolid Red Bula Serhija Peresa. Meksikanac je zatim udario u zaštitnu ogradu, a potom je zakačio Nika Hulkenberga iz Hasa.
