Vaterpolo reprezentacija SAD plasirala se u polufinale na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu, pošto je večeras u četvrtfinalu poslije peteraca pobijedila selekciju Australije ukupnim rezultatom 11:10.
Poslije četiri četvrtine bilo je 7:7, SAD je bila bolja u petercima rezultatom 4:3.
Najefikasniji u reprezentaciji SAD bili su Aleks Bouen i Hejns Daube sa po dva gola.
U selekciji Australije najbolji je bio Luk Pavilard sa četiri gola.
Reprezentacija koju predvodi Dejan Udovičić će u polufinalu igrati protiv Srbije, koja je ranije danas u četvrtfinalu savlada Grčku rezultatom 12:11.
Posljednje četvrtfinale igraće večeras od 20.35 časova Italija i Mađarska. Pobjednik tog meča sastaće se u polufinalu protiv Hrvatske koja je pobijedila Španiju rezultatom 10:8.
