Руски космонаути Олег Кононенко и Николај Чуб данас су поставили рекорд за најдужи континуирани боравак на Међународној свемирској станици (ISS), саопштила је руска свемирска агенција Роскомос.
Како се наводи, Кононенко и Чуб су оборили претходни рекорд, који су до данас држали Руси Сергеј Прокопјев и Дмитриј Петелин и Американац Франсиско Рубио, преноси РИА Новости.
Кононенко и Чуб су отишли на ISS 15. септембра 2023. на свемирском броду Сојуз МС-24 заједно са Американцем Лоралом О'Харом, који се вратио истим бродом у априлу са Русом Олегом Новицким и првом космонауткињом Белорусије Марином Василевском
Они ће се, заједно са америчком астронауткињом Трејси Дајсон у понедјељак вратити на Земљу, користећи брод Сојуз МС-25.
Укупно трајање лета Кононенка и Чуба биће више од 374 дана, а 59-годишњи Кононенко, који је тренутно на свом петом путовању у свемир, претходно је постао прва особа која је ван Земље провела више од годину дана.
