Ruski kosmonauti Oleg Kononenko i Nikolaj Čub danas su postavili rekord za najduži kontinuirani boravak na Međunarodnoj svemirskoj stanici (ISS), saopštila je ruska svemirska agencija Roskomos.
Kako se navodi, Kononenko i Čub su oborili prethodni rekord, koji su do danas držali Rusi Sergej Prokopjev i Dmitrij Petelin i Amerikanac Fransisko Rubio, prenosi RIA Novosti.
Kononenko i Čub su otišli na ISS 15. septembra 2023. na svemirskom brodu Sojuz MS-24 zajedno sa Amerikancem Loralom O'Harom, koji se vratio istim brodom u aprilu sa Rusom Olegom Novickim i prvom kosmonautkinjom Belorusije Marinom Vasilevskom
Oni će se, zajedno sa američkom astronautkinjom Trejsi Dajson u ponedjeljak vratiti na Zemlju, koristeći brod Sojuz MS-25.
Ukupno trajanje leta Kononenka i Čuba biće više od 374 dana, a 59-godišnji Kononenko, koji je trenutno na svom petom putovanju u svemir, prethodno je postao prva osoba koja je van Zemlje provela više od godinu dana.
