Mirna sarajevska dolina neposredno prije rata
Nakon konstituisanja Srpske opštine Ilidža 5. aprila 1992. godine, opštinski Krizni štab je osim proglašenja mobilizacije stanovništva, donio nekoliko odluka i naredbi s ciljem očuvanja javnog reda i mira i pripreme za odbranu srpskog naroda i teritorije.
S duge strane, Presjedništvo BiH, na čelu sa Alijom Izetbegovićem je 14. aprila 1992. godine naredilo regionalnom štabu TO Sarajevo da izvrši otvaranje komunikacije Sarajevo-Hadžići, što je u praksi značilo napad na Srpsku opštinu Ilidža. Međutim, pripreme muslimanskih snaga za opšti napad na Srpsku Ilidžu nisu tekle glatko i brzo, tako da su napad izvele tek 22. aprila 1992. godine. Akciju je planirao Enver Hadžihasanović (bivši ppok. JNA - dezerter)
U međuvremenu su se dešavale provokacije muslimanskih ekstremista, što je kod srpskog stanovništva izazivalo nespokojstvo, ali i nagovještaj budućih događaja.
Rukovodstvo Srpske opštine Ilidža je nastojalo da pravovremeno obavještava stanovnike o aktuelnim događajima, pa je u tu svrhu formirana Informativna služba Kriznog štaba.
Služba je, između ostalog, štampala Bilten Srpske opštine Ilidža. Za ovu priliku objavljujemo prvi broj ovog Biltena sa nekoliko autorskih tekstova koji pobliže oslikavaju stanje u Srpskoj opštini Ilidža prije prvog velikog napada muslimanskih snaga.
