RM Sotheby's prodaje jedan od najuspješnijih Ferrari (Ferari) F1 trkačkih automobila Mihaela Šumahera, Ferari 248 iz 2006.
Šumaher je ovim Ferarijem, šasija br. 254, zabilježio pet pobjeda, uključujući Veliku nagradu Sjedinjenih Država, Evrope i Njemačke. Takođe je osvojio tri druga mjesta, četiri najbrža kruga i tri pol pozicije. U ovoj šasiji, Šumaher je 2006. nadmašio rekord pol pozicija Ajrtona Sene.
Ferari 248 je bio prvi Ferarijev V8 koji je pokretao Ferari F1 automobil od 1964. godine, sa 2,4 litarskim motorom iza vozača. U početku je imao 730 konjskih snaga, ali je do kraja sezone dobio 785 KS.
Sadašnji vlasnik je kupio bolid od tima Ferari u decembru 2007. godine, a 2008. je dobio sertifikat Ferrari Classiche Red Book.
RM Sotheby's ne navodi procijenjenu prodajnu cijenu, a nadmetanje počinje 14. novembra.
