Američki magazin "Forbs" svrstao je Nacionalni park Taru među pet prirodnih čuda na Balkanu koje treba vidjeti.
- Otprilike četiri sata vožnje jugozapadno od Beograda, postoji oaza netaknute prirodne ljepote u obliku Nacionalnog parka Tara - piše "Forbs" izdvajajući da je ovo područje prekriveno ogromnim količinama netaknute šume bora, jele i smrče i da postoji bogatstvo kultnih balkanskih vrsta koje uspjevaju unutar njegovih granica, prenosi B92.
- Na istočnoj periferiji parka se nalaze neke fascinantne istorijske relikvije poput manastira Rača iz 11. vijeka - piše američki magazin.
Kako kažu, ljubitelji životinja će ovdje moći da vide risa, vukove i sokole, a kada su mrki medvjedi u pitanju, ne postoji bolje mjesto za razgledanje od Nacionalnog parka Tara.
Pored Tare, na ovoj listi "Forbsa" se nalaze i Nacionalni park Una u BiH, Nacionalni park Pirin u Bugarskoj, Nacionalni park Kerkinis jezero u Grčkoj i Valbona u Albaniji.
