Rukometaši "Slavije" iz Istočnog Sarajeva počeli su sa pripremama za novu sezonu.
Boris Tešanović je u dvorani Slavije izvršio prozivku i time su i zvanično počele pripreme kluba. Ekipu su na početku priprema pozdravili pored trenera Tešanovića i predsjednik kluba Mladen Mrda, kao i direktor Milan Milinković i poželjeli im kvalitetan rad na pripremama.
Ekipa je evidentno podmlađena u odnosu na prethodnu sezonu. Opravdano nije bilo nekih starijih prvotimaca, sa nekima nije još uvijek postignut dogovor o nastavku saradnje, tako da je za sada tu većina mlađih momaka, uz tek ponekog starijeg igrača, a među njima je i povratnik u "sokolove" iz sarajevske Bosne Mihailo Domazet.
Osim Domazeta, novi igrači Slavije su i braća Luka i Mirko Došlo, Nikola Jelisić, koji je pristigao iz brčanskog Jedinstva, te Miroslav Mirković jedan od najboljih rukometaša Glasinca u prošloj sezoni.
