Prema podacima Republičkog zavoda za statistiku Republike Srpske, u toku 2024. godine u zatvore je upućeno ukupno 461 punoljetno lice. Najveći broj osuđenih zatvorskim kaznama počinio je krivična djela protiv imovine – čak 121 osoba.
Slijede krivična djela protiv zdravlja ljudi, zbog kojih je osuđeno 71 lice, zatim djela protiv braka i porodice (54), kao i krivična djela protiv života i tijela, sa ukupno 42 osuđene osobe. Na petom mjestu nalaze se djela protiv bezbjednosti javnog saobraćaja, zbog kojih su zatvorske kazne izrečene za 33 lica.
