Обиљежавање 83 године од злочина над Србима у Старом Броду

У Старом Броду код Вишеграда данас ће бити обиљежене 83 године од злочина над више од 6.000 Срба Сарајевско-романијске регије, које су побиле усташе Јуре Францетића.
Усташке јединице покренуле су у прољеће 1942. године офанзиву са намјером да протјерају и побију српско становништво из источног дијела БиХ да би оствариле свој циљ – границу НДХ на Дрини.
У спомен-комплексу биће служен парастос убијеним српским цивилима, након чега ће бити положени вијенци код споменика и спуштене руже у Дрину. Организатор обиљежавања овог догађаја од републичког значаја је Одбор Владе Републике Српске за његовање традиције ослободилачких ратова.
