Obilježavanje 83 godine od zločina nad Srbima u Starom Brodu

U Starom Brodu kod Višegrada danas će biti obilježene 83 godine od zločina nad više od 6.000 Srba Sarajevsko-romanijske regije, koje su pobile ustaše Jure Francetića.
Ustaške jedinice pokrenule su u proljeće 1942. godine ofanzivu sa namjerom da protjeraju i pobiju srpsko stanovništvo iz istočnog dijela BiH da bi ostvarile svoj cilj – granicu NDH na Drini.
U spomen-kompleksu biće služen parastos ubijenim srpskim civilima, nakon čega će biti položeni vijenci kod spomenika i spuštene ruže u Drinu. Organizator obilježavanja ovog događaja od republičkog značaja je Odbor Vlade Republike Srpske za njegovanje tradicije oslobodilačkih ratova.
