Мушка рукометна репрезентације Србије играће против Шпаније у баражу за Свјетско првенство 2025. године, одлучено је данас жријебом у Келну.
"Орлови" ће први меч играти у гостима 8. или 9. маја, а реванш у Србији је 11. или 12. маја.
Предсједник Рукометног савеза Србије Милена Делић рекла је да је српска репрезентација
извукла најтежег могућег противника.
- Очигледно немамо среће са жребом, али у рукомету је све могуће. Шпанци су, такође, рањиви после овог Европског првенства. Нису прошли у другу фазу такмичења, исто као и ми. У повратној утакмици смо домаћини и верујем да ће тим дати и последњи атом снаге да покушамо да се домогнемо Светског првенства - рекла је Делићева.
Због пораза од Црне Горе у посљедњем колу прве фазе Европског првенства Србија није била међу повлашћени селекцијама у жријебу.
Свјетско првенство биће одржано у Хрватској, Данској и Норвешкој од 14. јануара до 2. фебруара наредне године.
