Muška rukometna reprezentacije Srbije igraće protiv Španije u baražu za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2025. godine, odlučeno je danas žrijebom u Kelnu.
"Orlovi" će prvi meč igrati u gostima 8. ili 9. maja, a revanš u Srbiji je 11. ili 12. maja.
Predsjednik Rukometnog saveza Srbije Milena Delić rekla je da je srpska reprezentacija
izvukla najtežeg mogućeg protivnika.
- Očigledno nemamo sreće sa žrebom, ali u rukometu je sve moguće. Španci su, takođe, ranjivi posle ovog Evropskog prvenstva. Nisu prošli u drugu fazu takmičenja, isto kao i mi. U povratnoj utakmici smo domaćini i verujem da će tim dati i poslednji atom snage da pokušamo da se domognemo Svetskog prvenstva - rekla je Delićeva.
Zbog poraza od Crne Gore u posljednjem kolu prve faze Evropskog prvenstva Srbija nije bila među povlašćeni selekcijama u žrijebu.
Svjetsko prvenstvo biće održano u Hrvatskoj, Danskoj i Norveškoj od 14. januara do 2. februara naredne godine.
