Vozač ekipe RB Australijanac Danijel Rikardo bio je najbrži na današnjem prvom treningu uoči trke za Veliku nagradu Bahreina u šampionatu Formule jedan.
Rikardo je ostvario vrijeme od 1:32,869 minuta. Drugo vrijeme na stazi Sahir imao je vozač Meklarena Britanac Lando Noris koji je 0,032 sekunde bio sporiji od Rikarda. Treći je bio još jedan vozač Meklarena Australijanac Oskar Pjastri (1:33,113).
Aktuelni svjetski šampion u F1 vozač Red Bula Holanđanin Maks Ferstapen ostvario je na prvom treningu šesto vrijeme (1:33,238).
Drugi trening je na programu danas od 16 časova. Treći trening biće održan sutra od 13.30 sati, dok su zvanične kvalifikacije planirane za 17 časova.
Trka za Veliku nagradu Bahreina, kojom počinje nova sezona u F1, na programu je u subotu od 16 sati.
