Vaterpolo reprezentativac Srbije Dušan Mandić kandidat je za najboljeg vaterpolistu Evrope u 2024. godini u izboru Evropske federacije vodenih sportova (LEN), saopšteno je danas.
Mandić je ove godine sa selekcijom Srbije osvojio zlatnu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu. On je dobio priznanje za najboljeg igrača (MVP) na Igrama u Parizu.
Mandić je sa ekipom Ferencvaroša ove godine osvojio Ligu šampiona.
Pored Mandića kandidati za vaterpolistu godine su: Alvaro Granados (Španija), Soma Vogel (Mađarska) i Loren Fatović i Marko Bijač (obojica Hrvatska).
LEN je saopštio da će dobitnik ovog priznanja biti poznat u januaru naredne godine.
