Odlomak iz romana "KORANA KO RANA".
"Osviće sedmi januar 1942. godine. Srpski Božić. Prije svanjavanja, prešli smo Svetozarevoj kući. On je to tako udesio da toga dana budemo kod njega. Nadali smo se napadu na selo, pošto su muslimani najviše napadali i zlostavljali narod prilikom praznika. Tako su do sad radili, od kako je rat počeo. Mi smo se međusobno dogovorili, ako naiđe kroz selo neko bez oružja i ako nas ne bude dirao, nećemo se uopšte pojavljivati. Nećemo da se zna da smo mi ovdje. Ako naiđu naoružani, bez obzira koliko ih bilo, prema rasporedu ima da ih potučemo sve iz zasjede. Snijeg je velik, ne mogu bježati. Donekle smo se i radovali da naiđu, da obilježimo Božić borbom ove godine. Još jesenas su prijetili da nijedan Srbin neće dočekati srpskog Božića na teritoriji Nezavisne Države Hrvatske."
Knjiga zabranjena 1961. objavljena je prvi put 2023. godine u izdanju Fondacije "Zaboravljeni korijeni".
