Juniorska vaterpolo selekcija Srbije plasirala se u polufinale Svjetskog prvenstva u Beogradu, pošto je savladala Hrvatsku ubjedljivim rezultatom 12:7 (3:4, 3:1, 3:0, 3:2).
Sastav Uroša Stevanovića ključnu prednost je stekao u trećoj dionici, koju je dobio sa 3:0 i otišao na 9:5 pred posljednji kvartal.
Aleksandar Kovačević je bio najefikasniji kod Delfina sa četiri gola, dok se dva puta u strelce upisao Nikola Kojić. U hrvatskom taboru su po dva gola dali Vlaho Pavlić i Patrik Kolak, piše Sportal.
Srbija u borbi za finale igra protiv pobjednika okršaja između Crne Gore i Holandije.
