Та планета је скоро исте величине као Земља и удаљена је "свега" 41 свјетлосну годину.
Планета "ЛХС 475 б" направи пуни круг око своје матичне звијезде за само два земаљска дана, што, заправо, значи да јој је орбита вема близу те звијезде.
То за собом повлачи и посљедицу врло високе дневне температуре на њеној површини, што није баш најизгледнији сценарио за постојање живота или настањивост.
Без обзира на то, "Вебово" откриће представља прекретницу у потрази за егзопланетима, јер путем овог великог телескопа наука сада има способност да открива и пуно мање егзопланете те чак и да проучава састав њихове атмосфере - саопштава НАСА.
