Борачка организација Републике Српске /БОРС/ затражила је од институција Републике Српске да захтијевају од власти Хрватске повлачење новог Закона о гробљима којим се предвиђа и легализује рушење српских споменика на територији Хрватске.
БОРС ће, уколико не дође до повлачења спорног закона, тражити од власти Републике Српске да адекватно одговоре везано за споменике на територији Републике Српске посвећене хрватским јединицама или појединцима који су током протеклог рата починили злочине над Србима, и посебно на споменике којима се величају злочинци и злочини, а вријеђају српске жртве.
На основу ставова Одбора породица погинулих бораца БОРС-а и Предсједништва БОРС-а, БОРС оштро осуђује доношење Закона о гробљима који је усвојио хрватски Сабор 30. априла, саопштено је из БОРС-а.
Хрватски сабор усвојио је Закон о гробљима, којим се предвиђа уклањање српских споменика постављених послије 30. маја 1990. године, а ако то не ураде слиједе им казне до 5.000 евра.
Овај закон, који је изазвао реакцију српске стране, предвиђа да власници гробова морају да уклоне надгробне споменике ако написи на њима, како су навели, вријеђају вјерска, морална и национална осјећања Хрвата.
