Boračka organizacija Republike Srpske /BORS/ zatražila je od institucija Republike Srpske da zahtijevaju od vlasti Hrvatske povlačenje novog Zakona o grobljima kojim se predviđa i legalizuje rušenje srpskih spomenika na teritoriji Hrvatske.
BORS će, ukoliko ne dođe do povlačenja spornog zakona, tražiti od vlasti Republike Srpske da adekvatno odgovore vezano za spomenike na teritoriji Republike Srpske posvećene hrvatskim jedinicama ili pojedincima koji su tokom proteklog rata počinili zločine nad Srbima, i posebno na spomenike kojima se veličaju zločinci i zločini, a vrijeđaju srpske žrtve.
Na osnovu stavova Odbora porodica poginulih boraca BORS-a i Predsjedništva BORS-a, BORS oštro osuđuje donošenje Zakona o grobljima koji je usvojio hrvatski Sabor 30. aprila, saopšteno je iz BORS-a.
Hrvatski sabor usvojio je Zakon o grobljima, kojim se predviđa uklanjanje srpskih spomenika postavljenih poslije 30. maja 1990. godine, a ako to ne urade slijede im kazne do 5.000 evra.
Ovaj zakon, koji je izazvao reakciju srpske strane, predviđa da vlasnici grobova moraju da uklone nadgrobne spomenike ako napisi na njima, kako su naveli, vrijeđaju vjerska, moralna i nacionalna osjećanja Hrvata.
