Zemljotres magnitude 5,1 stepen Rihterove skale pogodio je danas oblast u blizini Mandalaja, drugog po veličini grada u Mjanmaru, saopštio je Geolški institut SAD.
Ovo je novi u nizu naknadnih potresa poslije razornog zemljotresa koji je pogodio Mjanmar u petak, 28. marta.
Stanovnici Mandalaja istrčali su na ulice u panici.
Zemljotres magnitude 7,7 stepeni Rihterove skale pogodio je istu oblast prije tri dana, srušio brojne zgrade i oštetio infrastrukturu.
Do sada je prijavljeno više od 1.600 mrtvih i 3.400 nestalih. Očekuje se da će ovi brojevi rasti.
