Univerzitet u Istočnom Sarajevu u petak, 13. septembra, svečanom akademijom u Administrativnom centru Vlade Republike Srpske obilježiće 32 godine postojanja i uspješnog rada.
Na svečanosti će biti dodijeljena priznanja pojedincima koji su u proteklom periodu pomagali razvoj Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu, kao i najboljim studentima i istraživačima.
Ove godine, najveće priznanje - Orden Univerziteta, biće uručen ministru za naučnotehnološki razvoj i visoko obrazovanje Republike Srpske dr Željku Budimiru i novinaru „Ruske gazete“ Aleksandru Borisovu.
Svečana akademija zakazana je za 18.00 časova.
Univerzitet u Istočnom Sarajevu, pod imenom Univerzitet u Sarajevu Republike Srpske, osnovan je 14. septembra 1992. godine odlukom Narodne skupštine Republike Srpske.
