Српски писац Милутин Бојић, аутор поеме о масовном сахрањивању српских војника у море "Плава гробница", рођен је на данашњи дан 1892. године.
"Плава гробница", поема о масовном сахрањивању српских војника, трајни је поетски споменик трагедије српске војске у Првом свјетском рату послије повлачења преко Албаније.
Бојић је студирао филозофију и педагогију у Београду.
Учествовао је у балканским ратовима и у Првом свјетском рату. Послије повлачења преко Албаније радио је као државни службеник на Крфу и у Солуну.
Милутин Бојић умро је 1917. године од туберкулозе и и сахрањен је на солунском гробљу Зејтинлик.
Бојић је написао четири књиге пјесама и више драма, укључујући "Краљеву јесен" и "Урошеву женидбу".
